Digital Bass Line (DB 303) App Reviews

One of the best 303 emulations out there. Reviews stating the sound was bad or the app was useless or hard to programm have been written by sissies .

Audio is garbled after leaving the app and coming back to it (on iOS 4). App must be forcibly quit and restarted every time.

Pretty good , needs midi amd some tweaks butvits still good for iphone. Acid lite

What a shame. I wish it allowed more precise tempo controls and would play audio outside the app so multiple sequenced apps could play simultaneously. The LPF cutoff also feels like it doesnt go down far enough. I wish this app was better. It had such promise.

5 stars in interface and design. Programed a acid line and played with the controls then added delay/feedback. Took a second to figure out 2 finger swipe to access them. Please add more control on tone knob and ability to save baselines in a audio format (not mono) I know Im going to have lots of fun writing and comparing sequences from this and a real 303.

Best mobile 303 on the market

Like the title says, this sounds very good but the controls can be a bit hard to manage on the iPhone. Definitely go read the PDF manual and youll really get the most out of this. Thanks for making this free!

Just what you would want from an app like this.

I owned a Bassline many moons ago. Burned up in an apartment fire. Boom, its back, exactly as I remember it.

This is a great 303 emulation.

Id give it a 5 star rating if I were able to export somehow. Even a simple Wav. export via wifi is fine (obviously copy/paste would be the most useful but I dont know how difficult that would be for you) Fun to make these sounds/basslines but i cant really use them right now. Thanks!@

This app looks promising, but simply will not load on an iPhone 3G, running the latest version of iOS4 (4.2 ?) The iPhone restarts before the apps starting screen comes up. Cant even give it a review, probably because it is a memory hog. Not a good sign. (Ive been able to successfully load and run every other app ive tried (over a thousand, so far), so theres no obvious reason why this is happening, besides the smaller RAM on the 3G. Its like having a $5.00 reset key on the phone.

Great app, I made some sweet bass lines. However, I do have some suggestions. First of all integrate a .wav exporting feature, and adding the audiocopy/paste would also be quite excellent. Next, add more effects. Finally, add preset bass sounds that you can tweak. All of these ideas together would make a perfect app.

I used to use the real thing years ago, and this app creates a really good virtual 303. Once you find noises as good as this, you need to be able to export them and stick them into GarageBand or whatever you use... The 5th star is an export function away...

Wasted five bucks on an app that doesnt do much. There arent that many things to do with this app and the sound is terrible. My HP computer is better than this... And thats sayinh something.

Yep closest I can get on a IPod to be a great electronic musician like Daft Punk
